Volunteer/In-kind Investments

Magellan is part of the communities we serve. Our 500+ employees work, live and play in the same neighborhoods where our provider, advocate and the individuals we serve do. Connecting, serving and giving back to our community is at the core of Magellan's values.  Through in-kind donations, volunteer work and drives to collect needed items for local food banks, community centers and shelters, our employees invest their time, share their expertise and recruit friends and family to do more.

Through our annual Computer Giveaway Program, we invest in helping our service recipients and families achieve their goals. Since 2008, Magellan Health Services of Arizona has given away more than 1,070 computers to service recipients, family members involved with their recovery, peer and family run agencies, and providers.

Additionally, through our Community Exchange program, we facilitate the free exchange of resources (items, services, etc.) throughout Maricopa County and parts of Pinal County. In 2010, Community Exchange facilitated the exchange of more $220,000 in resources from donors to recipients.

Volunteer/In-kind Support Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in partnering with Magellan Health Services of Arizona through volunteer opportunities and/or in-kind support. Please see below for volunteer/in-kind support request criteria and submission instructions. Volunteer/in-kind support requests are considered on a quarterly basis. All requests must be submitted via e-mail by 5 p.m. on the deadline day to be considered. Completed applications can be submitted to MaricopaCommunityReinvestment@MagellanHealth.com. To be considered please complete the Magellan Volunteer/In-kind Support Request Form. Be sure to include all supporting materials. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Quarter One Application Deadline - 5 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012
  • Awardees notified by Friday, February 24, 2012
• Quarter Two Application Deadline - 5 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2012
  • Awardees notified by Friday, May 25, 2012
• Quarter Three Application Deadline - 5 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012
  • Awardees notified by Friday, August 24, 2012
• Quarter Four Application Deadline - 5 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012
